This is really great effort of what I call it ?monochrome" image, your capture added strength and power of the light and shadow mixture. I like the way you caught the children in action. B&W is a challenge subject which you did it wonderfully. Saeed

I like your photoraph very much, Amna!
It caused me some insights from my own childhood that I'd probably would never be able to remember again. I've grown up in Aleppo, so may be the quality of the air that is sensible to a degree in your photo succeeded to extract those deep burried memories :) !
Thank you very much for sharing this photo.

So about the tilt issue that many mentioned, I've done tilt and perspective correction on your photo and posting it hereby. I'm not sure that it adds very much to your photo. I like the tilted one as much. To me it adds some dynamism to the photo. But this is pure subjective, I think.
I hope you won't mind about my edit.
Wish you all the good, Amna!
Garo

I like it just the way it is. One is unsure whether they are running away from something or running in excitement to something. The shadows and dark hues really accentuate this feeling.

I cant think of anything to improve this image! quite different from your usual moody landscapes and moody floras but still as good if not even better!
One thing is the slight tilt but it works with the whole atmosphere!
great work amna :)

The only suggestion i might have is tilting thr image a little bit. Besides that i think its just perfect. Brilliant light and shadow. Good work.

Thanks Jeroen and Carolyn for your comment, I tried to straiten the image however the door became tilt :-(

Carolyn Wiesbrock   {K:14051} 6/13/2005
Nice play with light and shadow
The tilt is also the only thing that I see
that could be improved.
Good tone and well done!

Very cool image. Like it a lot!

My only suggestion is to straiten the image. It tilts to the left, I think.

My compliments,
Jeroen
