More shots from the beach. I would appreciate any views on this as it's difficult to be subjective and unemotional in such circumstances (when it's ya Mrs!). So, how & why I took the photo. I love shooting outdoors and wanted a stong rim light so had Ali stand with her back to the sun. I metered from her chest area to get a true skin tone reading then recomposed & shot it. No fill flash (which you can tell as I'm reflected in her glasses crouched down and yo udon't see the flash - which yo ucan in others!. I wanted to avoid the bleaching flash can give. I waited for a little wind to give the hair movement and shot it. I was pleased with the result - but what do you think?

Hi Matt - I like the idea - the off centre composition, the backlighting, the sun through her hair - it works well. I even like the simple border. The only improvement I can think of would be to increase the dof slightly as some of her facial features are a little soft. Very nice.
