Hi Sam, thanks for the info and my apologies. After receiving your message i did some research in google and found out all about your Lilium :) It has also been seen somewhere in Russia, but it is very rare, so look after it, OK!

dear neil as i know the flower has been discovered in 2 country Iran & Azarbayjan.but i love my country and it is normally to say as like as i wrote.any way its scientific name is Lilium ledebouri. if it is in another place plz inform me many thanks

Hi Sam, nice photo! I'm not so sure as if Iran is the only place you can find it. To me it looks like a: Türkenbund-Lilie, Lilium martagno(Liliengewächse) It is a protected species, but you can find it evrn here in Switzerland, maybe it originated on Iran :) There again i'm no expert on this. I enjoyed looking at your portfolio nas indeend reading your Bio as i too am interested in naturphotography, but i tend to dabble in all sorts of images as the mood takes me.
