About ....of these steely gates, whos' gaze has held me still.

Cleverly disguised as protection....it only serves to restrain emotion, to arrest ambition.

Nice shot Brad. Did you get this effect with just the F-stop? Don't take so long to add more.

Wow - now that's a different perspective! Love the rusty feel of the gate you captured. Reminds me of the "magic sand" you'd get as a kid that made underwater castles...
Well seen on this Bradley.

it conveys all the fascination and entiing mistery of the other side...very well done, the way you played the dof is masterful, and the b/w as proposed by Jon an excellent alternative take.

Scott...Stop it before my head explodes! You are truly too kind.

Balmer, hon. I'm not originally from Balmer, but have been here long enough to have a pretty good handle on their vernacular.

Lunch? Absolutely! I travel a bit on business, so we would need to coordinate. It would be great, if you want, email me pruehair@comcast.net

...and thanks again, my friend!

I have to disagree with you Jon. Although I do think the B&W is very nice and probably something I would have done or is a least something I would have thought of. I think Brad's original in color is perfect! Brad is master of subtle, rich color! Something that I hope I can accomplish someday.

Thanks, but Candace is a force of her own. I don't think anyone could rule her. I'm very fortunate that she has shared her beauty and her grace with me! And she's done it so often! I think Bal'mure (did I say that right?) is about half-way between where she lives and I live. The three of us should do lunch sometime?

You have such great vision! You're attention to detail (or the lack of it) is super! And your choice of light is the best!

Very dramatic. I think it also works as a black and white (possibly a bit more moody that way, too).
