About This is another shot of the old dam valve on San Gregorio Lake in New Mexico.

Lots of PS work here. Darkened, contrast increased, etc, background colorized. The valve was darkened and the right side of the valve had blue reflections on it which were removed.

Both this shot and "Rust" were taken before I even had knowledge of the rule of thirds, but I the composition I tried to obtain that as much as I could. I'm still not very good at using that rule...

I agree - "Rust" is my favorite of the two, as well. I like the sepia I added in the corners.

Good PS work. Prefer "Rust" for the composition. May want to look into the rule of thirds as it offers some ideas on assymetric composition.
