Well, basically Colin I am considered to be living in the outback. These rocks are on the edge of the lake and yes, this was taken late afternoon. I am so pleased you got to see it and understand what effect can be had by using the blend layers.

Oh my gosh, the colors are extrodinare. The rich deep blue contrasting with the perfect light on the cliffs with the green of the tree's, DREAMY. What a perfect beautiful photograph. Love it.

This is exactly how I remember the coast near Mooloolaba and also parts of the McDonnell Ranges nr Alice. Beautiful golden tones on the rocks Judi. Good contrasts with that fabulous blue sky too. Well done!
