About No.. it's not growing in my back yard!
Yes.. it is illegal to grow it here in UK...

That is... unless your the Dutchess of Northumberland & you apply for a special licence!

This is one of the attractions to the 'Poison Garden' at 'The Alnwick Gardens'... full of Dangerous plants that can guarantee at least a bad pain, rash & sometimes even (in the right quantaties)... death!

This garden is kept behind lock & key... & those allowed to enter are only so as part of a guided & enlightening tour aimed at teaching us all the dangers of plants... though I must say, they also have some good qualities... take this one for example.. long has been the debate over Cannabis, its healing properties V's its harmful ones... Personally speaking... everything can be good for you in moderation!

Thanks for dropping by.

Thanks for your comments Mary... I tend to agree with you... personally I would prefer putting something provided by mother nature into my body rather than man made chemicals. An old friend used to suffer terribly from MS... he swore by this stuff as a pain reliever.... fortunatley I do not suffer pain that great as yet so can do without either.

Great work with the puzzle behind it. Hey, if it helps people in a lot of pain, why not? There are many pills and alcoholic stuff out there that are readily accessable that can do a lot of damage if not used properly. For particular circumstances, cannabis should be available to those with certain medical concerns.

Interesting picture Sue, never used the stuff myself and don't know much about it except that I recognise the aroma when I smell it on the bus, train, coach, ferry, pub, and just about everywhere else!

lol... you would make a good politician... apparently they don't inhale either!

I have included a link for The Alnwick Garden website in my following photo... it's a pretty good site full of info on the gardens & forthcoming events... Music Festival is always a good time to visit as there is so much going on... & this week (Wed 29 June - Sun 34 July) is Alnwick Fair... so I'm ready for a busy weekend )

Hope you find the relaxation you need in Devon... look forward to the seeing the photo's after the weekend.

Ah... wacky baccy! Not one to partake myself (I have tried it but didn't inhale ;-) ). Love the way you've treated this in PS with the jigsaw background texture and desaturation.

That garden sounds fascinating! I must see if I can get up for a visit sometime!

Thanks for sharing this Sue

PS. Yes - I am working too hard at the moment! Planning a weekend in Devon this weekend to chill a bit....
