On this side of the pass there are 48 u-turns. It goes up to 2757 meters.

Eh bien moi je me vois bien à la place du cycliste qui grimpe; il n'y a pas longtemps je le faisais encore, mais je n'ai plus le temps. J'aimerais bien ausi grimper votre haute montagne ou une autre. Belle vue ce lacets qui serpentent pendant combien?

I noticed this pearl while still on the "Images needing comments" page or words to that effect. Now its among my favorites. Would you believe that in 1950-51 in Switzerland and later, on the way back and forth to Jerusalem from where I lived (about 50 km) it might have been me passing on my bike?
