One of the best insect macros I've seen on this site. Superb and sharp focus detailing, especially of the compound eyes. The intensity of the colouring is fantastic, also.

Roberto, thank you for your kind words. The Sigma 70-300 mm Macro-Zoom will not focus closer than about 1 meter so I'm not able to get too close. This is the best shot out of about 50. The shot was taken handheld and proper focus is very tricky.
