About	All of the ponds are drying up due to lack of rain around here. Temps are in the upper 90's and no immediate relief in sight.

nice wildlife shot and good title.
we had dry period here too .but now we had rain rain rain ,too much at one time.

Great capture, but sad storyline. We are experiencing dry conditions in Missouri also. It is sad to see the wildlife suffer (and all I hear are people complaining about the grass dying in their yards). I think a sign of a good picture is when you can stir someone's mood....which you have. Good work.

If I might add an artistic suggestion, I would adjust the levels and see if you can get rid of a little bit of the haze. It might really bring out the colors more. Here is another version of your picture. Again, great shot.
