waw really nice abstract, and thanks so much for explaining your technique. Even here in Malta we lack trees and greenery, unfortunatley it's a very small island and over populated...

Hi Sam,

Glad you liked the picture. Nothing much to write about, except that where i live, in kathmandu, nepal (i am from india, and i have been living here in nepal the last two years), deforestation is rampant, and trees are being cut down at an alarming rate. That's a bleak, stark fact, and i wanted the picture to be equally bleak and stark. I shot against the sun, to white out the sky with very low aperture and hgh shutter speed to blacken out the trees. I am happy with this picture because it's from my first black and white reel. Once again, I am glad you like it.

I went through your page a while back, you've got some really lovely pictures there. I like saving water in particular. I notice you are from Iran, I am a big fan of filmmakers Abbas Kierostami and Majid Majidi. Some of the nicest and most thought-provoking films in the world come from your country.
