EPIC is the word that comes to mind in this extraordinary photo. It is the opening chapter of a 1,000-page novel; the seed of a revolution; that atmospheric moment before the wind starts to blow. It draws me from the moment (the rider in the foreground) to the mystery (the temple). I can't say enough about the appeal of this photo.

This is only comparable to an early morning scene in a movie. I like how the people in the background are well lit and they performe so well in the composition.

What a wonderful photo, of a fantastic view!
Kenvin, the landscape of this place seems totally out of this world, so rugged and dusty! And the light is so uneven and dramatic. You captured it well.
I love the way the image sweeps over the whole scene, taking in the pilgrim in the foreground, and leading the eye around the path and towards the temple.
Masterful work!

OHHHH.. this really a gift to UF, you drawn to in a scene, the patterns in the field, the track to the temple, the dust caused by the movements, you fill the boundary of the mage with the dynamic movement as of watching a film not still image. This is opportunity where a once in a lifetime situation like this presents itself framing it quickly will be second nature. A master piece of work, congrats on such fantastic hot shot. Which deserve award. Ps. this is my first time in UF to rate an image with 7.into favorite.

Great composition, like much the way the lone subject in the foreground with the horse takes the eye to the rest of the sweeping landscape. The swirling dust together with more figures adds atmosphere, wish the image were more sharper but still a great shot. Nice one Kenvin, cheers.

This looks a LOT like a painting. It's fascinating - there's a lot going on, but there's so much to look at. It feels more like an honest surveyal of the chaos than a composed framed art thing, and this, I think, in this case is a good thing. I can't get over how unusual the tones are and how oddly the more colour saturated elements come through the mist. Very cool.
