Interesting effect... If you hadn't labled it as digital...I would have thought you were photographing a canvass. Nice work on the exposure with the brighter colors, without them getting to be "too hot"!
Keep playing...that's the name of the game... )
Cheers,
Bill

Emanuele:
I certainly hope the comments from Charles don't discourage your artistic experiments. I like this photo and the treatment you've applied. It is a good street scene and the effects add to it's old world quality...Please keep up the good work...and Charles....try constructive criticism...there's nothing useful in your comments.

I find this a very pretty image. The idea, obviously, is to create the impression a sort of of genre painting. The subject lends itself very well to such a vision, and this succeeds very well on those terms. Charles must be having a very bad day! How on earth can a composition be "too simple"? The picture is quite appropriately placed in the "Digital" and "Photoart" categories.
One reason we're here is to share our visions and our techniques not to get testy little lectures.
This is a nice picture, Emanuele. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Regards, --George

Compositon is too simple. Light background and dark foreground isn't working here. That framing and texture effect is horrible, don't use this kind of effect again, please.
