it is made of the local rock. Most of the fences in this part of kansas were made like that when settled and still remain. where I live there are none so they are purchases in our area for yard ornaments.
the men were much stronger and more determined back then I would suppose :)

actually mostly trees by the road. they were to far apart to get in pic and behind me was a bank.
If I could have got further back I could have use the trees as a natural frame but this is realy pretty much what you saw.

Brandy, this is a nice classic landscape image with a nice drame with the foreground tree on the right. I just wish it were more landscape than a portrait crop. Maybe there is something you didn't want seen that I can't see of course.
