As we have already met on these pages, I would to suggest that we officially switch to first names. I, as you know, am Rafi and unless you object I'll refer to you as Simone. You wrote that you were intersted in science. In case you are also interested in psychoanalysysis and would like to read a book I wrote bout the subject, I will gladly send it to you. The book is called "Dialogues with Schizphrenia - the Art of Psychotherapy" and it was written with the interested non menal-health professional also in mind. If you want to read it, please send an e mail to rafael1930@bezeqint.net with "Usefilm, your book" in the subject line and the book (1.02 MB) will be sent to you at no cost to you. Best regards, Rafi

Complimenti Simona. C'è molta poesia nei tuoi scatti! A presto. Simona ;)

This is our first, but hopefully not last meeting on the pages of "Usefilm", Mr. Tagliaferri. Although you wrote no bio, your photos show me that you are Italian and probably live in Rome, a city I visited several times, arriving there the first time in 1952 on bicycle from Zurich, Switzerland after having finished pre-medical studies and last time a few years ago in a tour concerning Italian art. I liked many of your photos, among them the one about the dead bird, which only showed the case of the bullet that had killed it. I finally opted to comment on this photo, not just because it was the last photo you posted and hence the first one I saw, but also because I liked very much the way you conveyed the concept of emptiness and because of the wonderful composition of the photo, with the fallen, broken head of a statue in front and the standing statues in the backgrund, all in perfect focus. You are, of course, invited to read my bio and pay further visits to my portfolio. In the meantime I thank you for your kind comment on my "Multicolored balls." In my rudimentary Italian I though that what you wrote about that photo was that it reminded you of blood-cells under a microskop. This made me wonder if you might have had medical education and if so, in what specialty. Best regards, Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann

Molto efficace questa composizione! Hai creato un immagine sicuramente originale piazzando in quel modo il soggetto in primo piano. Molto valido anche il contrasto del B&W.
