About after paddleling in my kayak for one hell of a time down wind i just got to this spot in time for the silhouette shot...then the long paddle upwind back towards the place i parked the van. I was sore before i turned around and had to take it slow. At least there is a full moon for the return

Talk about a man suffering for his art. This series is well worth the effort Tim. You have captured some wonderful light in you little 'magic box'. I'm sure some of these will scenes will find their way onto canvas. Good to catch up wiyh your travels again. Regards John

i wish i had a kite to sail downwind with, then at least i would only have had to paddle one way!

That's the trouble with paddling downwind first, Tim, there's always the return! Your reward of course is this spectacular shot! Very nicely done!
Dave.

like the way you combined this peak in the background and these trees - they are good counterbalance; what I miss here is light in the background - similar in softness to these lovely reflections in water

Knew this was one of yours just seeing the thumbnail Tim. It is one of those magnificent shots I've been expecting from your trip. You haven't disappointed me. Simply gorgeous.
