Saw many wonderful portraits from you. Great work! I hardly do portraits. There are a lot I can learn from your portraits. I feel B/W encourages people to enjoy an artistic value of a photo rather than to it's colorful attraction. Great capture Denzil.

Denzil,
Very good capture. I like their separation in pose and your bare bones approach to lighting.
And, I realize that you said this was a spur of the moment snap so it's very good in that regard. If you were to try it again, I suggest reflecting some of the side lighting onto the couple on the right of the photo. They are dimmed because of their distance from your primary light.
Also, a re-crop to give a little more room to the girl on the left would be helpful as well.
Your control of dof in an arrangement like this is very good.
