Hi Marcus
Thought I had better cover all bases as you guys say :)
I do worry sometimes that my sense of humour rubs people the wrong way.
Doesnt stop me from opening my mouth though :) LOL

Hi Angelo
Thanks for the comment.
Yes I was right down on the ground.
Luckily when your on the inside of the track you get to lay down on beautiful soft turf lawn :)

It's stunning the play of funnel light and that blue is excellent.

Great capture, David! I like the placement of the sun, the light on that rail line (a great line!) and the deep blue of the sky.

Nice use of the wide angle and perspective.

Did you have to lie on the ground for this?

I was actually joking about the replying and boosting of comments, but my american humor is probably lost in translation LOL. Is it me or have things gotten a bit uptight here on good old UF? Let just have fun and post pics.....

So thats how it works.
I've gotta start making more comments on my own images :)
Sorry Marcus, I wasnt trying to say that I thought you felt you had to make a comment on an image purely because you felt obliged to.
That thought never entered my mind.
I was making a joke at my expense by saying I didn't have to comment on yours.
Its my bent Australian humour.
I do 'Irony' quite well, only problem is I'm usually the only one who gets it :)
Sorry again.

Well the good thing about replying to comments is that your comments get boosted. and you dont have to bother commenting on others shots that dont really intrest you. I found this shot very nice that is why I commented not because I felt I had to. I think we should all only comment on what catches our eye, that way we dont get the typical "great shot"..... Take It easy.

Hey Thanks Marcus
I guess some of my stuff is just too subtle for most :)

I was just about to comment on your latest "lucky" effort. Now I dont have to hahaha :)

An oldie but a goodie. I love the colours and the angle of light. Makes it look like they've been running for ages. Good perspective. Unusual but effective. Cheers, Ann.
