Gabriela, I agree, with your comment on the background. I liked it when I first posted it but see the weakness. I've enjoyed using the D70, it has been a joy to use. Regards Ken

For sure the background should have been different. But the dragonfly itself looks good! My husband (who has a Nikon Coolpix5700)looked with envy at what a D70 might achieve. Best regards from Gabriela

Hi David, Thank you for taking the time to comment on this image. To answer your question; no I didn't remove the background (I'm not sure if I even know how, I'm a newbie at PS). The dragon fly was in bright sunlight, while the background was in shadow (I metered in the sun with a incident meter. I have other photos of the same dragonfly and will wotk on them soon. Dragonflies are one of my favorite subjects. I'm still trying to capture the ultimate dragonfly shot. Did you remove the background? Might want to consider just blurring it out and not removing it altogether.
