About	I watched this little fellow harass the hawk for quite some time, eventually the hawk tired of it and took off, with the little guy hot on his tail.

Both bird and title remind me of that novel by Stephen King "The Stand".

Birds of prey are very much social outcasts in the bird world aren't they Bret. So often I've watched them being fended off by much smaller birds. I wanted to see more detail of the hawk so I've done the attahed. Hope you don't mind. A little tip for you that I've found when shooting birds against the sky like this. Bump your EV up by about +2 stops. It'll blow out the sky but give detail in the subject. It's easier to adjust the sky.
