Excellent placement of the people into your frame plus a great difference of mood, excpressions, the woman looks like wonder why he is crying...amazing image, excellent quality and very good deep tones too.
Best regards!

very nice scene, the lighting and tones are great, the two people with different expressions give the shot dual perspective, very well done...

Max! I saw your comment which reminded me to browse back to your portfolio again.... you've been very quiet recently (well, yeah, as if I am in a position to argue that...:) I like the way how this image creates an interaction between the two people, that is probably not even there. It creates a tension, as the viewer is left guessing at what caused that mans' dismay. What did he say? What caused his misery and (perhaps) regret? I think that creates a very strong tension, which makes this shot.

Photographically, it's as sound as ever; well balanced composition and tonal range, consistent style, and nothing to argue. Where atmosphere and mood is conserned, I think its perfectly powerful...

Cheers,

Hugo

Bellissimo lavoro.

Max, I always knew that women are stronger than men ... the lion statue tells me so :))

Could be the couple that has a little fight ... but I guess you choosed a composition that could one make thinking this quarrel situation. You gave us the proof that photography may be a dangerous medium ;)

Thanks for sharing, Frank

Well seen and composed 'street' shot Max. The rich tones and the shading add to the interest of the shot. Looking long, the viewer can knit up all kinds of stories but all with a sorry tint.

se il giorno
passa lento,
tra un sorso
e un rimpianto...
se il gomitolo
dei pensieri
non si dipana...
se la tristezza
affascina
senza perdono.....
.......ricordami...

struggente Fotografia....

Well... If the photo speaks for it self, why should I say more? The only thing left to say is that "if the photo speaks for it self" someone, behind the camera, had to be there, at the right place and time, with the eyes of a great photographer... It could be me! LOLOLOLOLOL But it was you and that is even better! Hugs dear Italiano!

(per me, ovviamente :-).

Ciao vecio.

enrico (ventrix)

First of all - outstanding tonal range!!! Thats what grab my attention firstly, allready from the thumbnail. The composition are great, such dynamic and contrast one - she just waiting and seems not to have any problems and he seems, in contrary, have problems and being sad or worried. Excellent!!!

There is a great distance between your subjects... The body language is perfect for both as well. Not necessarily what it seems to be but your composition certainly leads the imagination quite firmly.
