What a creative profile. Your friend(?) must feel honored you've shown him so distinctively, so uniquely ...looking so friendly. What makes this so wonderful (too me) is the simple palette of sepia and brown, , the textured background, and the soft focus .. excellent! ..Gab

Hi Sarah, Actually, you would have found the original background even more distracting. I tried and tried to change the color of this background, but never could come up with a color that I really liked. Oh well...next time! Thanks, Sarah! CU soon...Kathy

Certainly looks like an interesting fellow. You should take more of him Kathy...like in a series maybe telling his story. From a war hero to a vetran. Would be pretty neat. :-) I like the tone of "him", but for some odd reason (and it could be just me) the background distracts my eye and takes away from the main focal point, of course which is Will. Great pic though. Best regards.
Sarah

Great title Sissy. He is indeed a colorful character. Like the effect on this one. I think he would love it!

Wow! What a small world! You're right...this is a wonderful place to live. I was born here and have been here nearly all of my life...and the same goes for my husband. Thanks for the info. BTW...we have a granddaughter named Abigail! Kathy

Kathy, I grew up in Sedro-Woolley (from age 1-19).
We went to church in Bellingham, I raced (road cycling) in Bellingham, and of course, went to the Colophon Cafe in Bellingham! :)
We moved away from Washington, around 6 years ago, and I have lived in Tennessee, Kentucky & Indiana since then.
Nothing matches the scenery and activities of Washington State, though! :)
I took my wife back there for our honeymoon! It was great going back. It all seemed different, maybe didn't live all up to my memories in some ways, but very much so in others. It was still a wonderful experience going back... That area will always be a big part of me. :)
