Fabulous shot! The sky looks angry and the way the grounded boat is heeled over, it almost looks like it is at sea before the wind of this nasty sky. ...till you see the brown dirt, which is almost jarring, in a way. Very nice effect. Lighting is fantastic and composition and focal length boost the feeling much. Love it!

A beautiful picture with great depth. The sailboat is definately out of its element and that creates a slightly more dramatic shot. Very good work

Yeah..you're right Hugo about the hull...after zooming in there is no definition that I could rescue and my skills with PS don't stretch to putting in any more definition...c'est la vie, as they say.

Hi Manu, very dramatic shot, and a good use of the wide angle to empasise the vastness of both the dry river bed as well as the sky. Furthermore, the postprocessing does emphasise the mood beautifully. A very strong archetypal moody landscape. The polyester hull seems a bit washed out, though....

Moody landscape Maun. Composition is cool the clouds draw me in to the image and the light in the foreground is very nice.
It would be interesting to see this image a bit darker. I think the boat stranded offers some interesting visual ideas.
