About Each widows/relatives are given the "ulos" (traditional Batak slayers) to be put onto their beloved ones' "skull boxes" in the Mangokkal Holi ceremony in Tarabunga Village, Samosir Island. After then, they shake eachother's hands as a symbol of love and affection. Sorry for my poor English..:(

Great docu-shot! you capture the tradition well. It tells a nice story. I like that the man in the top right is in focus while there is blur elsewhere. it helps bring the focus back to the hands shaking in the center...

A great series on these ceremonies, Hanggan! I like the toning, as well, it gives it a distinctive flavour.
