Wow, Cat this is quite nice!
Although it's a tiny bit overexposed, your eye is the delightful focus of attention.
Since you're shooting digital, here's my suggestion:
slightly underexpose your images by setting an expoausre value (EV) of -1/3 to 1/2. You can always recover details that are underexposed in editing software, but overexposed data is clipped and all detail is gone...unrecoverable.

As a suggestion, I think it would be better if you cropped in closer by cutting 1/5 off of the top part. That would bring the viewer's eyes more towards the face and the ring. About the piercings, I didn't know you could right through the lip like that. I've only seen it below the lip. Very nicely done.
