Reading the write up the pilot and crew were already with wetsuits and tanks and were going to let the plane flood once it landed and then get out. I think it was National Geographic magazine that had sole filming rights but to my knowledge it hasn't happened yet.

Great nightshot Mike, this will make a fabulous dive site.

I remember reading the Cyprus newspapers that an "old" passenger jet was going to be "crash landing" in the sea off the northern coast and sunk to make a dive site. The flight crew are all experienced divers - that would be incredible to watch .... from a distance !
