hey stefan..well maybe this photo is "not enough" for you, but then again the shot was not taken by you so the priorities of the photographer are different..when looking at a photo you not only have to look at what you see but ask yourself..."what did the person see in this shot?" " What am i missing?" ...i think when you approach a photo like that, you open your mind to things..perhaps if you asked the photographer what was the intention of the shot, maybe you would get a better idea of what he/she wanted. do not take me the wrong way stefan, i think this is great that we talk about photos, thats kinda the purpose of this site. just thought maybe id open your eyes as you try to open mines...

on the composition. can he not see the priest in the middle just passing by this homeless person with the cup in her hand, wanting change...that speaks so much in itself.
read my first comment, I can see it.... to me this is not enough, my eyes are lost in this image they are wandering around.. solution? go closer to these two persons in the middle.

and i happen to think that STEFAN,the person who rated you before me, is only right on the blown out white part but WAY OFF on the composition. can he not see the priest in the middle just passing by this homeless person with the cup in her hand, wanting change...that speaks so much in itself. you think the church would lend a hand to people like this is need, but he just walks by..wow powerful. and look at the architecture...amazing! dont be discouraged...you took a wonderful photo, and i think if you work on the blown out whites, you will have a masterpiece. i hope this was helpful.

wow...this street shot is amazing. its very different. i like how so many things are going on at the same time. and it seems like the priest is just passing by the person in the middle with what seems to be a cup for collecting change. this really tells a story. great job

I never rate pictures... sometimes I am surprised when I see all these +++++++++ 7 7 7 7 7 7 what if hcb or salgado or winogrand will show their pictures here?
maybe the scene in the middle has some interest, the rest is just saying nothing, nothing happening there, yes two man walking, but what more? where is the special moment? the technical part is very poor! BLACK in front without any texture, BLOWN out white in the back part... far to much contrast in the whole picture. regards Stefan
