Thank you for your comment! Switzerland is a very small, very lovely but also very mountainious country with less than 7'000'000 inhabitants. About 70% of our land is improductive, stony hills ... To my opinion if I would have to compare it with a state in the USA I would mention maybe Montana. So it is normal, that Swiss industry is specialised in building any sorts of cable cars, those systems are exported all over the world, and they have an excellent reputation. For your interest, I was reminded that the cable car I took the gold framed mt picture, was manufactured in your country. Believe it held maybe 30 people and constantly revolved as it ascended the mountain. Was a wonderful experience on these mountains.
