Very nice photograph. When you actually take a moment to study her face she almost appears to have an expression of being deep in thought.

Oh poor, what a sad visage!!! Her wrinkled face is very talking. Nice photo dear Susie just it's makes me feel sad. You know I love animals and nature but I can't stand a human barbarism. Our task save the animals life not to kill the fauna! Excuse me dear that I get angry. Lovely work dear Susie! :) My best regards! Robert

i think i know her! i used to visit Woodland Park zoo in Seattle quite a bit when i lived there and i would sit and make eye contact with her and a couple of the others.....there is,or was,an old silverback male that was quite the character...you have done a wonderful job capturing her gentle spirit and love the clarity, details of her lined face and those knowing eyes....congrats!...the vignetting is nice here,too.....regards,gayle 7+

Whoah!!! Great shot of this grizzled primate, Susie!!
I look forward to the next!!
Best regards, Chris
P.S. Have you heard this story? I used it in my talk on Genesis on Sunday morning?
Passing by the primate area one day, a zookeeper noticed a monkey sat on a rock with an open book in either hand, looking first at one and then at the other. Upon closer inspection, he identifies the books as the Bible and Darwin?s ?Origin of the Species?.
A little curious, the keeper asks the chimp, ?What?s with the books?? And the chimp replies, ?I?m trying to decide if I?m my brother?s keeper, or my keeper?s brother.? )
