Bruce, Thank you for commenting on my work. I've gone back and edited the image by cropping out most of the handle. It seems to give the steps more emphasis. I'll have to give it time.

Hi Bob,

This is an interesting study of a very prosaic collection of objects. I like the textures in the wall and the shadow (which you have rightfully identified in the title). A distracting element for me is how the handle finishes in the middle of the top edge of the photo.
