Luke, this is straight from the camera. The Sony F707 (which was my first digital camera) is known for boosting the color red. I remember trying to photograph a red rose, which was very difficult with this camera.

This is wonderful, Marion! I actually like the fact that the apple blends with the background the way it does - as though emerging from it! I love the visual punch of the stem and the little patch of green!

Red is good. It provokes and excites. Did you use gels or boost saturation? It is an image that does not have much contrast, yet can maintain interest. I like the yellow/green/gold color streak in the left upper corner. Nice work. Red would be a great theme/project!

It is a cool idea but I still think you need to separate the apple from the background somehow. The left side does it but on the right hand side the blend almost perfectly.
