Molto bella ,nei colori e nelle linee che si sono create, forse una messa a fuoco pił ampia in questa macro avrebbe aiutato a godere in maggior modo dei dettagli, ma rimane pur sempre un'ottimo scatto.

hehe
you're right
but I was in hurry

there is really no focus, if this is real shutter speed(1/30) you probably shaked camera a little
When picturing from hand you should try 1/60 and faster shutter speeds
When picturing portraits and animals try to make focus on their eyes, so pictures will not look soft

You could compose it much better in either way, you could picture other side of his 'face' becouse (I think) it has more light, you should compose picture with your subject(sally), not with the leaf, so you would not cut his tail
Also bigger aperture number, and it would not be so blured, becouse his whole body is blured, and his body is most of the picture

Or leave same aperture and take pictures from other perspective, like 'under' his head, so you could compose his head, eyes and front legs with blured background

Of course this is not how it should be done, it's how would I try to do it

cheers! :)

Thanks for the amazing critique Matija. Please don't comment on my photos unless your criticism is going to be constructive. You told me that my photo is bad but you offered me no help to becoming a better photographer. I don't appreciate empty criticisims and I'm really annoyed that you would call my photo bad without offering anything to help. This online community is about constructive criticism...

Hi Joshua .. well I think apart from this little guy here .. the shot is quite a good good .. well the shots pretty sharp and the dof is good .. I like it how the back part of this lizard is blurred .. I can't even see no problem with the composition and the angle of view .. It's great .. well done .. Keep up the good work.

My best,
aLi
