Thanks! Actually, this is still in my livingroom! I'm still waiting for the energy company to hook up electricity (yes, two months we've been going back and forth with them and it's driving me insane!) I started out with JTL 160's and I still use them for background lights. I now use an Alien Bee 800 for my main light with a 4ftx6ft softbox. With a small apartment space you may want a softliter instead of a softbox as they take up less space and setup like an umbrella (easy) and very portable. The JTL's are lightweight and have the same power as the Alien Bee 400's I believe. They have a built in slave so they fire when the main light fires. I have a radio trigger for my main light too. It is great not to be tied to the light! Good luck with your new setup!

This is very nicely done! The composition and lighting is perfect! I take it this is done in your new studio?
I am getting our new apartment setup soon and am thinking about purchasing indoor lighting as well. What is a good kit to start with for a new learner?
