About I am out of my cocoon my friends! Did you know that some butterflies do not discriminate between sweaty socks, moist sandy beach like in this photo I captured and fragrant flowers? Or is it only when they are really thirsty for water? Any amateur lepidopterists or entemologists out there? Please feedback, thanks. I wanna increase my knowledge on THIRSTY BUTTERFLIES like this species here.

Good shot of the butterfly. Colors and details are good. He stands out well against the brown of the dirt.

We have some very small butterflies that go to wet mud in the summer time for water. A beautiful butterfly. Don.

I don't know anything about butterflies but this is nicely captured. Almost looks a bit sad, as if he's fallen, nice colors and contrasting textures..well composed and presented...Linda
