What a wonderful expression on this rabbit's face! These eastern cottontails look suspiciously like a western cottontail that's been cross-bred with a jack rabbit. Very interesting. Never seen one of these before. Great DoF, as always, James. I've been gone for a while so I'm trying to catch up on your photos.

Thanks Kim. Magazine editors probably wouldn't use an image with a blurry foreground for a cover, but should have no problem using one inside.

Excellent detail and sharpness... what a great capture. Ears perked forward, attention towards the camera. The background is blurred nicely, although I find the blurred foreground just a little distracting. What are the thoughts of magazine editors in regards to blurred foregrounds? Does it matter?
