Very nice shot Kostas! The idea of taking an out-of-focus photo through a glass full of rain drops seems to be working very well! The rain plays an important role in making it a really interesting and 'rich' picture, because the rain drops are multiplied, fractured and scattered randomly inside it. Like an abstract, expressionistic painting! It would be nice if you could work more with the colors and the synthesis whenever you have the chance! (although I do like the synthesis of colors and their combination :))

Regards,
George

thank you :-))

Ciprian,
if i had moved the camera during exposure then the lights wouldnt have rendered this way,but rather like lines - as in my nightrides. in this picture, the lights may be out of focus but they are still.
the yellow lights are streetlamps and the red ones are car tailights... all these small abstract reflections are caused by the raindrops on the windshield of my car.
exposure was 1/4sec @f1.8 i think ;-)

Excellent abstract, such a splash of colour rendering this image very interesting indeed.

Just wondering if you moved the camera during exposure, and roughly what sort of shutter speed did you use?

Regards,
Ciprian

This is INCREDIBLE. Great job. It almost looks like an underwater scene.
