About I changed the title - just to make it more interesting. :-]

Taken at the LaColle Falls Dam, a ruined pile of concrete appearing suddenly around a bend on an isolated part of the North Saskatchewan River near where it joins the South Saskatchewan. Called by the elves "Prince Albert's Bane", and by the dwarves, "Khazad-dumb", the dam was started in 1912 and was halfway completed before they found out that the initial feasibility study had been completely mistaken and that, in fact, there was no way that it was ever going to be possible to generate electrical power from that particular stretch of river. Construction stopped and - its dreams of industrial greatness destroyed - the tiny city of Prince Albert beggared itself for the next 60 odd years trying to pay off the debt it had incurred in building it.

Cheers,

Jon
