Very nice composition. There is a real feeling of the sweep of the landscape and the villiage and houses in the middle ground create much interest. Also, the people shown in the foreground add the needed scale in this shot, giving a better feel for the distances involved. Without the people the house in the middle ground would appear much closer than it evidently is and make this landscape feel flatter than it is. You have nice dimension here. Great light too. Very nice job!

Now that sounds like a great idea to me! I think even the budget fits! Love the colours Ade... and the composition with the curving beach is spot on. And that sky is excellent!!!
Interestingly there is a hotel at Ravenscar which used to be owned by my Stepmums family in the dim distant past... pity they sold it...... Would have perfect for a UF meet!

I debated getting rid of the people, but thought it gave it a sense of scale so left them in.
I usually get rid of unwanted people, so agree with you in general :-)
that bay is about 2-3 miles across.

That is one of THE most picturesque views in the UK Ade and I think your capture of it without question the best I've ever seen. Well done mate. Margaret and I spent some time there a few years back in the hotel that overlooks the bay. This is almost the view we had from our room window. Den
