Thanks, I've always loved Norman Rockwell.I'm happy it worked for you.I try not to think too much when I'm shooting; I see something and respond to that attraction as quickly as possible, most of the time shooting only one frame. I love hanging around kids, they always do something worthwhile. I have a print of this hanging in the back room, waiting to embarrass my son the rest of his life.
I'm priveleged to be the first commentor on this classic shot. You've really broken off a little piece of time here and it's almost like the spirit of Norman Rockwell possesed you (whether or not you enjoy his work, you can at least understand the mood im getting at). Composition, contrast, use of IR, PS work - this is easily one of the best images i've seen on usefilm.
