Beautiful Marcus! And the pelican is one of my favorite birds too! We had a lot of them on the coast but not sure if they're still there after the hurricanes, I sure hope so. Hi Marcus,
You made this Pelican look so graceful! The angle of the wings and the position of his neck make him look like he is flying without effort. It can't be easy for such a heavy bird.

haha thats funny Guido, they do need lots of fuel, they can hold 4lbs of food in there throat. but they are slower and a bit easier to shoot..

I think after capturing that tern shot, you did great, those are one of the hardest birds to capture as they fly so erraticlly.. but if you do have any questions about shooting BIF that I could help with let me know. I think you have it covered pretty well thought..

Awesome image! As you know I tried my hand at wildlife this weekend and I must say I have an even more understanding of how hard and unpredictable these animals are.

Good morning Marcus, I think that this is one of my favorite birds also, we only get them thru migration season and I look forward to that every year.
I don't have no shots like this though, very crisp and the colors are on the spot.
A little catch eye adds the final touch !
