Well done indeed, I can never capture this sort of thing to my satisfaction, and you've done this well. The colours help to isolate the bird well, as does the slightly blurred background (great use of DOF). Top Shot.

Cortney, 5ish is good but you will have to work fast as the sun is going down sooner. I start my afternoon shoots at around 3pm. I start in the shade and then move out. Also try early in the morning. I do it, and hate it. I'm a night person.
If you don't mind an old fart joining you on your photo shoot, let me know.

Otra foto increíble de aves Daniel.
Ahora de que ave se trata? es una gaviota no?. La foto es excelente, el ave volando casi al ras del suelo y la captura en el momento adecuado. La luz es grandiosa.
