Wow - that town i would visit :))) I?m flattered John by your words!!!! I?m fascinated by those artichoke, how proud they reach the sky and has a look as a brown big rose and how the colours shift from green to purple.

I've had this as wallpaper on a clean screen near my desk since you posted it. I was going to make some wisecrack about this picture getting you elected Artichoke Princess of Castroville........ a town in CA where the US gets 80% of its artichokes ..... if I sent it to their Chamber of Commerce. But I won't. I think this is just marvelous.
ps..... and I'm passionate about artichokes ... plus, you can play with them while you eat them :)
