About Playing around with Mason (he's Krystal's son) and the flash tonight, caught this one of him and the wet owl, hope you enjoy, I did! He is so wonderful and such a good sport when his Maw Maw gets the camera out!

The transparent effect gives the impression of a cherished memory. No doubt that's what it is. Overall, I like everything about it.

Fun with the flash! I love doing that. I tried to make ghosts walk across a waterfall using flash. Its fun to just play with your camera sometimes. It looks like he really had a lot of fun doing this.

Darlene,
This is an interesting effect. It reminds me of something I was trying a few years ago when my son was taking a photo course. We tried taking multiple images of the same person with the camera on a tripod and the shutter left open in the dark. I don't know what happened to those shots. I guess they didn' work out too well :)

That's real cool and real good. I can only imagen it was a long exposure 3-6 sec!?!?!? But the clarity on his face is awesome! Well done!

What fun! I can see I am going to have to get more daring with my camera! Of course, it might be easier once I learn the regular stuff first. Great post - and it sure did bring a smile to my face! Jan

Wow! Thought you had caught a ghost in this one. How on earth did you do this? Layers probably, but which came first the wet owl or Mason? Can't figure this one out. BTW - Congrat on your EC award for that little blue jay having his bad hair day. Would comment on there but there are already a ton on comments! Prayers - Jan
