About My mother dragged me out to shoot pictures in the snow one day last winter...we had a great time, and she decided she NEEDED to see what was inside this old stone structure...I am glad she did. It turned into a picture that i find intriguing, yet not sure what it's appeal in the traditional sense is.
Thanx for looking and visit again...Dan

Jeanette...I agree...the rustic nature of it...it was strange to see trees actually growing inside it since it had been left for so long. Cheers hope you are well...Dan

More than just a shelter. The walls do look very rustic.

Such a pitty they just let it be a ruin - this must have been a very nice house once!

That wall is a piece of art!The old wood beams and and the scattered branches embelish the scene. And the powder of snow is a bonus! Simple beauty, a combination of man-made rustic art and nature's touch.

Its a good thing you listened to your Mom,Dan. What I like about this shot is that the decay of the structure looks neither sad nor tragic. It simply looks natural, and therefore necessary. Well captured and composed.
