Surprisingly, I don't see many food shots on usefilm - a category with so much potential, if only just mouth watering. Although apples aren't my favourite fruit, you're almost making me reconsider it, thanks to your wonderful presentation. Great use of lighting and the professional look to the whole piece, well done Susie!

Wow, I love everything about this one. Definitely brochure/magazine quality for the hotel. And, as always, beautifully presented.
Went to Vegas with my sister about 5 years ago. The one place I loved best was the Bellagio. Every night we'd be out there watching the singing fountains. Just gorgeous.
Can't wait to see some more from your trip!

Beautiful, warm fall mood created here Susie!
Both images are strong on their own.. as you know.
I especially like the image of the apple arrangement on the right. I like the soft focus in the foreground and background. Just a little soft but not too much to be distracting.

Hi Susie, I ended my other post sooner, so you could read it. I'm gonna continue now: I remember being one late October in Vegas at Bellagio, and they had a different arrangement, more gourds and pumpkins, and fall leaves, not as beautiful as this one! There was a mini-waterfall, and some spider webs, a bit Halloweenish, and the crowds were everywhere, I couldn't take a straight shot! Please take pictures of the Dale Chihuly glass ceiling sculpture, I love that! He's a great artist, I've seen his work first time at an exhibition at the Detroit Art Institute, and I fell in love with his glass works. Also, if you are bored with the casinos, the Valley of Fire is great too, outside Vegas, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, there's even a great area toward Death Valley, on that highway, lots of funky signs and other things to photograph. Thanks again for the dedication!

I had guests tonight and needless to say, haven't been too much online, so here I am now. What a nice present from you! I wasn't expecting anything like this! I AM in the harvest mode, and your picture fits right in! I love the composition with all the gorgeous apples! The one on the left is amazing - I've been working on a basket picture, too! So wonderful to see that bounty! The apples seem to pour from the basket in a perfect waterfall! And the picture on the right, superb colors, sharp as a tack, and amazing DOF! What can I say? Thank you, I love it! Gorgeous composition and title! Straight into my favorites!

Hi there! you should show this to Bellagio and maybe they would want it for a postcard or image within a brochure...clarity,colors,selective focus and presentation are all appealing and very well executed,my friend!
Just an idea,but you could shoot some ceilings,or night shots of the fountains,or desert plants...if haven't already...hope you made it down to see the night laser light/music show at Fremont st.......regards,gayle
