Again a wonderful coloring, but Ahmed, the sand is overexposured and the sharpness is too low on the sea. The overexposure could be also taken as an enhancement of the stroing light, though.

Right, Ahmed, I noticed that, too. The only time I see adequate background blur is in the 'super macro' mode. I do hope you get a dslr when you can. You have so much more control!

I also use Auto WB mostly but in lit up conditions I change. I also use AV quite often but manual seems to work better and I feel I can learn too by using manual. I only just started a few months back so still am actually practicing and am trying at times with the different features. The biggest problem I find with the camera is that even with the shollowest DOF its difficult to get a background blur. I read somewhere this is the case with digital cameras, except for dSLR's.

I'll have to try the manual mode...I usually use AV on that camera. I think I use auto white balance the most, so I'll see about daylight.

This was taken a couple of weeks back. We are also having rain every now and then nowadays, with cloudy skies. Not really the rainy season for us, but nowadays the weather doesn't follow the trend as it used to.

I shot in manual. Usually I use the Daylight white balance for most of the day shots. I think I used the same here. I have saturated the colors a tad in PS. Maybe thats why the colors are so prominent.

Even though I already live in Paradise, (Hawaii), this image makes we want to be there too! Beautiful blue sky, peaceful white sands, and warm soothing waters. That's what heaven is all about!
