About it was a clear day with amazing blue color and fast moving cotton white clouds, i kept shooting, and when choosing what to upload, i came up with this idea, is this an abstract? is it nice? what does it make u feel or think? need alittle of your time here.

As a pilot, I too have a great interest in clouds and the weather they represent.

Often the days when there are lots of small pretty clouds in the sky are those when it is most uncomfortable to fly below them. On other days when there is a thick blanket of cloud an no sun it can be very smooth.

Somedays there are clouds that it doesn't take a pilot to know that you won't go up there!

So I like your clouds because it's made me think of flying again and I haven't been able to do that for several weeks because of the weather!

Thank you dear Stefan for your kind comment.
i began working with the intention of putting all the colored images in a collage to save time and make variations in the subject and make it stronger, but to get closer to abstract i thought of converting them into b/w and put only one in colors to make a link in your mind between b/w vs colored, like saying they all look like thisone and you imagine them.
i also chose a crop that shows a large area of clear blue, to emphasize the feeling of a background color.
as for the contrast issue, it is due to the difference of the DENSITY of the clouds, i chose them in different formations and density to be really near to a STUDY.
might post a colored version really soon.
my Regards.

I like the idea but I have a few random thoughts that you could consider. The monochrome clouds look a little bleak to me, maybe a contrast adjustment would put a little more zip in there. I wonder why you chose to present the smaller images in b/w in the first place. It makes sense in that it separates them from the main image but the way they look here they don't really stand up to the challenge.

I love clouds too. Clouds by itself or as a background also adds beauty. Nice presentation with these beautiful shots! Well done my friend Yahya.

Thank u dear Ina for your kind comment.
i do aree with you, u simply pointed out the IDEA of an abstract, i mean if you have the same group of photos, you would group them your way, the way that expresses you, or deklivers your meaning, or simply the way you like to see them :) and i guess that is what make it an abstract.
hope this 1 was successfull as a first try.
Greetings and waiting for your next upload.

Further, to my comment, it gives me the feeling of putting order into chaos, which might be what the human mind does.

Hi Yahya, I find your composition very well balanced, very well put together, each window is a good crop, together they form a picture Mondrian style. It is very serious though: the cold colors (blue/black/grey) are very sober. It makes me think more about equilibrium and balance, and less about nature. Which is probably another dimension, beyond the obvious, so that's if you wish, the effect of an abstract. It's something "OTHER THAN" what's obvious. Hope this helps, Ina

I have so many cloud shots in my image stock. I love clouds. They can be dramatic and moody. At times, sweet and delicate as you show in your presentation.

When I look at clouds, whether in heavy or clear skies, it is an opportunity for me let my mind go blank and de-stress.

So personally, I think your study is very pleasing and soothing. You have presented it nicely without going over the top in post-processing. But I am left yearning to see the smaller ones in colour too!

Yahya, you have wonderful vision. This was a good idea. :)

Cheers and thank you so much for your encouraging comment on "Show Girl". It was a pleasure to hear your thoughts.

Rina
