Hi Gayle,
Actually, I have been in the food service industry for many years. My husband and I owned a restaurant for 14 years, and then Susie and I took over that building and have been catering for the last 5 years. Now Susie and I are in the middle of closing down the catering and will be re-opening the cafe in less than a month (gluttons for punishment, I guess :)) Soooo, I have been at LOTS of food shows! I don't know if you read Susie's comment, but we got busted for taking pictures at this particular show! We had no idea that it wasn't allowed!!! Ignorance is bliss I guess :)We had to talk our way out of that one, but we got a few shots anyway!
So there you have...a glimpse into my life...are you sorry you asked? :)
(Susie and I are going to be in your neck of the woods today, picking up a piece of equiptment for the cafe. We might even take our cameras along :)

hi, this came out nice with good clarity and color,but have to ask who you knew at show cause have never been allowed to shoot at any indoor show in Seattle and now many outdoor ones aren't allowing it either up there! I'm thinking about getting a very small spy-cam to grab some shots at concerts or art shows..LOL..regards,gayle

Now this is fun. So many vivid colours and great textures in play here. I love the textured background and the drop shadow is perfect. Very well thought out and shot. Where can I get a plate like that? I love this. Into my favourites it goes. Cheers - Ann :)

Wonderful deep colors and perfect framing, Kathy! Love the deep reds and the greens, the wooden plate. The picture is so well taken, the spices look so real! Love the canvas background and the dark red outline. Magazine quality! I also got in trouble for photographing the outside of a barn... can you believe it?

Nice Sissy...drop shadow is perfect. I like it! And to think we almost got busted for this....it was worth it! (For anyone reading this...it was forbidden to take photos at the food show, but we didn't know that. Imagine our surprise when approached by security!)
