Hi Robert, it's a florist's metal mesh material from a wedding bouquet. The wedding was in a park, I don't know the people, it was in an open space. The material is the same in all these pictures, different angles, natural light, and lots of Photoshop :)

Is it same surface or another material!? It seem same structure but another colors & tones. Beautiful idea and nice presentation in one! Well captured! Nice abstract shot & idea! Well done dear!

My best regards!
Robert

This is definitely "the winter of our lives", glittering metallic greys! Old Age!

Thanks for all your nice comments Yahya - the pure abstract idea is not to represent a specific person or object, but let your imagination add meaning into what's there. So it's OK or even better to be blurry :)

Great comment, Aram, you probably realized that it wasn't a wedding I participated in. We were out in the park and there was a wedding - no idea who they were. I snapped two shots of the bride and groom and then focussed on the bouquets tied along the park rails. They probably thought I was crazy. But it was a good photo session :) I may even go and buy some fabric and do a proper set-up, as opposed to what happened to be there. I may get more interesting results. But I am very pleased with these, as they are completely abstract. I like the ambiguity too, so clarity - you guessed right again - was not the point.

Thanks Ann, I like the fact that different people see different things in each abstract. That's great!

I know this isn't but it still looks like sequins to me. :) I like this. It has a cooler feel and another variation with the blurred focus. Interesting textures and creative idea. Nice Ina.

Cheers - Ann :)

Thanks Kathy, it was the picture of her friend's wedding, seen through the veil, that stuck in my mind. I have done in the past drawings of fabric folds, lace and sheers, but I had forgotten all about it. When I saw the wedding in the park last weekend, I thought of her picture :)

The crystal shine is more on this one. Beautiful shot again, Ina. The title suits the image well.

Very nice abstract. Strange vision indeed: the eye-catching elements of the picture are those out-of-focus spots that you can see in clear in the first plan. Here they are "usual" but there, they are so creative. Illusion is the oxygen of mind! Thanks for sharing the most joyful moments you have had at that wedding!
