Hi Richard, I found some from Quebec north of Hull, and some from New Brunswick near the Bay of Fundy that might be worth posting. Andre

Hi Richard, Just a post to let you know I've come across some old negatives of some more places like this one that I took quite a while ago. I hope to post some soon. Andre

This is fantastic, Richard. You have captured a wonderful lonely atmosphere. The lone cow adds such a touch of strangeness. Don't you just love the different moods created by these abandoned old homes when captured in B/W or colour or even from different angles.

That is exactly what I am hoping Tim. I show my photography in a gallery with several fine landscape painters, and I have envied the emotional envolvement they have with the act of painting. I love the Georgian Bay landcape I photograph, so I thought ...... why not try to paint them. I am really looking forward to the personal growth that comes from learning too.

Hey i hope you will enjoy painting! It can be so rewarding and introspective. So much of who you are comes out in the process.

Richard, The B&W version of this looks great too. I give my vote to the colour version, just by a hair. I think the late afternoon light works a little better in the colour version, if only in the lower third of the image. Andre

Thanks Tim. The D70 has changed the way that I approach B+W photography. The B+W landscape is what I show, and what I love. BTW ..... I have decided my next project (a lifelong one)is to learn to paint.
